So, on Day 3 I got a freebie. It was company party time, so 13 folks sitting around a table eating dinner -- it was inevitable that something funny was said, and I laughed out loud. Hard. It felt great. And though my success was the result of someone else's small, yet hilarious, failure, I am still glad I laughed. (And who wouldn't laugh? After all, she thought the alcohol was "cooked out" of her dessert, but she had ordered ice cream!)
I am also happy to report that earlier in the day I was able to laugh at something my son said. Without going into details, it involved a five-year-old boy who thought he had two small bras on his chest. That one got a good outloud laugh.
Today, Day 4, I feel a little bit sad, so I know I will have to work extra hard to find the humor in life. But I can do it. Someone, somewhere, something, is just dying to make me laugh, I know it!
